During July, 1919, within a period not much exceeding three weeks, I was healed by means of Christian Science of a malignant cancer, recovery from which, I had been told by surgeons, was practically out of the question. By a number of happy circumstances I was led to seek help from a Christian Science practitioner, and was completely restored to health. Naturally, my feelings are those of reverent awe for the agency by which this result was accomplished; but more than this, marvelous as it is, I feel that a new mental and spiritual horizon has been opened to my view. There are beauties in the world and in my life of which I never before dreamed; yet I know that I am only at the threshold.

There may be words that would express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, but it is beyond my ability to find them. I regret to think of the years that are gone which might have been so much brighter and happier; but I am firmly resolved henceforward to spend my days in devout thankfulness to God for the wonderful manifestation of His mercy. My dearest wish is that I may be permitted in my feeble way to aid others to a realization of the beautiful truth as revealed by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
