I wish to express my profound gratitude for the help Christian Science has brought me. When Christian Science found me I was deeply depressed and confused, and could not see my way at all. It brought me the spiritual understanding of God's Word, which healed me mentally and made me happy and free again. Sometime afterwards, it may have been two years, I asked the practitioner who had treated me if it were possible for me to have physical help, too. It was a matter of two corns which had troubled me for twenty years, and which had always required material treatment. The practitioner told me that God does not send His children discomforts and sicknesses, and that I would experience help in this case, too; and six weeks later I was really free from this trouble. I experienced another proof of God's help when, according to human belief, I scalded my hand. I immediately declared the truth, that all is created spiritually and therefore cannot be injured. The pain abated at once, no blisters formed, and a few hours later the redness on my hand yielded.

I thank God with all my heart that Christian Science came into my life. I am especially grateful for the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for this book has indeed become a "key" for me, helping me daily to understand God's Word better.
