If to Love you are appealing
For your health or for your healing,
Ask yourself: Does love divine
In your heart for others shine?
Do you love?
Love can't shine through thoughts unloving,
Cannot give where there's no giving.
Love will answer every prayer,
Love will lift your load of care,
If you love.
Love that in your heart is glowing
Opens the way for Love all-knowing,
In your life all good bestows,
On your pathway Love's light throws;
God is Love.

Love that bears a brother's sorrow,
Love that Love's own love doth borrow,
Love for God that knows no fear,
Love that feels Him ever near,—
That is love.
You will find God through your loving;
He will reach you, His love proving.
He will meet your every need,
When the laws of good you heed,—
Laws of Love.
So if you for God are yearning,
If to Him for aid you're turning,
Fill your heart with love for all;
Love can hear then when you call;
God is Love.
