The Lectures

Glendale, Calif. (First Church).—Introducing William W. Porter, a Christian Science lecturer, to his audience, Albert Russell Killgore spoke as follows:—

In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 494) the revered Leader of Christian Science has written, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." Doubtless every one of us here this evening has some need to be met, something to be healed, some fear, some sense of lack or discouragement or, possibly, of despair, to be overcome. Christian Science teaches that God is Love; and this accurate concept of God does heal men here and now of their diseases.
