For over eleven years I have relied wholly upon Christian Science to meet every ill. I can truly say with the blind man, "Whereas I was blind, now I see;" for I was healed of a very severe case of eye trouble, after having been treated by the best oculists in Boston and Chicago without relief. At the time I decided, at the urgent request of a friend, to try Christian Science, I was wearing glasses constantly, and was not able to use my eyes more than half an hour at a time without severe headaches. At night I had to use a green shade to protect my eyes from artificial light. I was helped from the first treatment; and as I began to realize that sight is spiritual and not dependent upon the visual organism, I was healed. I have since been able to use my eyes for all kinds of close work with perfect freedom. I was also healed in the first treatment of chronic constipation; for which I had taken medicine every night for years.

I had always been taught to read and love the Bible, but I had never realized that the promises of Jesus were available in this present day until I understood them in the light of Christian Science. At the birth of my little boy, four and a half years ago, Christian Science was a wonderful help, and the birth was almost painless. Every false material belief was overcome by spiritual law. The boy has always been a well, happy little fellow, very active and alert. He is now enjoying the blessings of the Christian Science Sunday School. I am most grateful for having had the privilege of class instruction under one of Mrs. Eddy's loyal students; for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church; and for all the blessings that have come to me and mine in the last few years. My husband became interested in Christian Science when he saw the wonderful change it wrought in me, and has received many beautiful healings. At the passing on of my father, Christian Science was a great comfort and strength.

Christian Science has never failed to meet every need; and I know it never will, when honestly applied. I am very thankful to God for His goodness to me, and most grateful to our beloved Leader for showing us the way to enjoy the liberty of the sons of God.
