It is with a deep sense of gratitude to God for the many blessings that have come to me and mine through Christian Science that I am writing this testimony. Nearly four years ago my youngest son, then only seven weeks old, was pronounced by the doctor to be passing away. It seemed impossible to find any food to agree with the little one. Even a spoonful of water caused pain and vomiting. My husband and I decided to ask for help in Christian Science. We went to a lady who we knew was a Christian Scientist, and she very lovingly promised to help us. Although at that time we knew nothing about Christian Science, I do know that in one week that dear little baby was healed. He gained strength rapidly, and to-day is a sturdy, healthy boy.

Since then we have received many wonderful healings, coughs, colds, influenza, and other discordant conditions having been overcome by reliance on Truth. About a year ago, when we seemed to be passing through a time of great lack and worry, due to unemployment, we were sustained by Truth, and received many beautiful demonstrations of the power of divine Love to supply our daily need. One Saturday evening my eldest boy, then seven years old, while playing outside, had a bad fall. His left arm was injured, the elbow being dislocated and the wrist broken. Help was asked for from a Christian Science practitioner. This was very lovingly and promptly given, with the result that in three days the arm was normal and the boy returned to school. This occurred over eighteen months ago, and the healing is perfect. On one occasion I suffered from severe toothache, my face becoming very much swollen; but with loving help from a practitioner both pain and swelling disappeared in less than four hours. Since then, more than two years ago, I have not had any trouble with my teeth. I have also been healed of muscular rheumatism, headaches, and frequent bilious attacks. I have not had actual treatment for these complaints; they have simply vanished while I have been studying Christian Science. For these and many more healings I am very grateful.

I am indeed grateful that my two little sons have the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School; for the blesings received from the Sunday services; and for the Christian Science literature. I am also sincerely grateful to the faithful practitioners for their loving and effectual help in times of need. The love and gratitude I feel towards dear Mrs. Eddy can be expressed only by daily striving to gain a better understanding of her teachings; and it is my earnest daily endeavor to do this. I am indeed thankful for all the blessings that have come to my family and to me through our daily study of Christian Science.—
