Six years ago Christian Science was suggested to me when I was completely exhausted, after spending three months in a medical sanitarium. I had returned home from the sanitarium not cured, and with many instructions and rules to follow. Christian Science did not mean all to me then, as it does now, although my daughters had experienced many healings, one, in a very short time, of pneumonia.

A very serious physical ailment had been manifested, seemingly so serious that I had despaired of my life, not understanding then the infinite power of Truth. In less than three weeks, with Christian Science treatment, I was healed. I cannot express my gratitude for this healing. But I am more especially grateful because I am learning to understand in a small way the truth of Life. My only wish and desire is to continue in the acquiring of this understanding, and to help some one as I have been helped.

The church services have grown very dear to me, and each hymn is a healing one. I am also very grateful to know that I am no longer bound by the so-called laws of mortal mind. I am thankful to Mary Baker Eddy for having loved mankind so much that she struggled to spread the knowledge of this truth all over the world.
