It was my privilege to be a member of a Christian Science...

It was my privilege to be a member of a Christian Science Sunday School; and now our children are having the same privilege. I am so thankful that there is a Sunday school where children are taught this wonderful truth. One of the first proofs I had of the power of Christian Science was as a pupil in Sunday school. After attending a few months, with the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was greatly relieved of a serious skin trouble, and later was completely healed. At this same time I had what the doctors would call blood poisoning in one of my fingers. My family were very much alarmed over this condition; but I knew that if God was the only power, there was nothing to fear, and that this discord was no more real than others that had been destroyed through Christian Science. This trouble was overcome in a few treatments.

My husband was a student of Christian Science when we were married, and our home has been blessed with peace and harmony. Many times we have experienced the overcoming of discords, — financial, physical, and mental. To every mother with children in the home, it is such a comfort to know that God, infinite divine Love, governs His perfect ideas harmoniously. This thought takes away worry, anxiety, and fear, with the result that the children manifest happiness and goodness.

I should like to relate the healing of my father, of what was diagnosed as softening of the brain, for which it was said there was no known cure. Christian Science treatment was begun, and in ten weeks my father was perfectly well and able to return to his work. I have seen colds, croup, sore throat, burns, pneumonia, indigestion, and constipation yield to this truth.
