The Scripture says, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." So numerous have been the benefits and healings realized in my experience since taking up the study of Christian Science that it would seem impossible to record them in their entirety; but it will be a privilege to tell of one healing showing the infallibility of God's law in the destruction of all that is unlike Him.

At the time that the great wave of fear known as influenza was claiming such a multitude of victims, I was the only student of Christian Science living with a family where there were several other boarders. One of our number was attacked by the dreaded ailment, after which the conditions at the house seemed to grow steadily worse. One by one the members of our household succumbed, until there remained but three of us to keep the large house running. Darkness and fear seemed rampant, and alarming symptoms were manifested by those who were ill. One evening, I seemed suddenly to develop the same symptoms. With difficulty I groped to a telephone, and asked help of a Christian Science practitioner. My perturbed thought was met by perfect calm and assur ance. Some loving counsel was given, and I was told to retire. The following morning when I awakened, I found myself planning details of the day's duties. Then suddenly the events of the previous evening came to my thought. In one treatment I was so completely healed as to forget, temporarily, that I had asked for the treatment.

Chicken-pox, severe colds, fevers, so-called laws of heredity, and countless other discordant conditions have been entirely obliterated through the power of Truth, as taught in Christian Science. It is invaluable to me in my work, also.
