Christian Science came into my life about five years ago

Christian Science came into my life about five years ago. I did not turn to it for healing, but have experienced many healings through the understanding I have gained since taking up the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and also through the help of a loving practitioner. I am very grateful for every healing, however small, as they all prove that the Christ-principle is as active to-day as it was two thousand years ago, when Jesus proved it by healing the sick and the sinning, and raising the dead. Christian Science has healed me not only physically, but also morally and mentally. Through its application, I have overcome an irritable disposition, which naturally made me unhappy. I am able now to overcome the petty trials that come up in a business office; and harmony is more frequent than when I allowed these things to worry me and did not know how to overcome them, as I do since I have found a religion that I can take into my business life. I have learned something about how to guard my thoughts, and the power of right thinking: how my thoughts will manifest themselves in my life, and that these thoughts can only be good, and, as His reflection, I can express only good.

I have learned the protective power of Christian Science. At one time, I lost a large sum of money which had been intrusted to me. I went back to several places where I had been, but no one had seen it. After trying calmly to know the truth, I went back to a certain store and asked again; but they stated they had not seen the money. Then I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner, and she very lovingly started to know the truth at once; and immediately I felt sure the money was left at this certain store—but again they denied having seen it. I tried to know that I was dealing with God's children, who could reflect only honesty; and half an hour afterwards I was notified that the money had been returned to the lost and found department by the very girl who denied having seen it. This is only one instance of the protection I have experienced, and only one of the many ways in which I have been protected.

It is only natural that I should be very grateful for Christian Science, and to all those who have helped me.
