For more than twenty-two years, Christian Science has been the very mainspring of my life. I have made constant and heavy demands upon it, and never once has it failed when I honestly and in faith applied it. It can never fail; for it is the unchangeable, demonstrable truth of divine Principle.

Christian Science healed me, in less than two weeks' treatment, of a severe stomach trouble, which many physicians had failed to relieve; also, of insomnia and neurasthenia of years' duration. Christian Science has been truly the Comforter to me in sorrow and separation, giving me to a great extent the realization that God, and not the presence of personality (no matter how dear), is the source of my joy. Christian Science has been my supply in lack, my companionship in loneliness, my counselor and guide; but, best of all, Christian Science has given me a new and true understanding of God. It has taught me to understand and love Him, when I thought I had been forsaken by Him and had refused to serve any longer the God I had been taught was the author of my ill health, loss, sorrow, and manifold trials.

My gratitude is inexpressible and increasing.
