Christian Science has done a great deal for me during the past few years. Catarrh, a sprained arm, measles, and what seemed to be rheumatism are among the many ailments I have had which have been healed through Christian Science. One demonstration I wish to mention in particular. Last Fourth of July, I became suddenly aware that to all appearances I had stepped on a hornets' nest; for I was surrounded by hornets and was stung several times. My first thought was one of fear. Then I realized that there was nothing to be afraid of, for I could be master of the situation. I could either allow fear and error to be the master, or else let divine Love and Truth govern. I decided on the latter. I understood that the stings had no more power than I gave them, for God is all-power. Soon my brother and I were walking together, quite forgetful of the hornets; and there were no ill effects from the stings. The understanding of divine Love had conquered fear.

I am very grateful that I am learning at Sunday school and at home how to make Christian Science practical. My hope is to be always a faithful Scientist.
