With heartfelt gratitude I bear witness to the healing power of Christian Science. For fifteen years I was afflicted with an intestinal trouble, accompanied by daily hemorrhages and great pain. I was treated by many physicians, among them specialists, but in vain. Then, to my great joy, Christian Science came into my life and, after I had received only four treatments from a dear practitioner, brought me healing. I am now healed, being free from hemorrhages and all inconvenience.

My wife suffered from varicose veins for years. Through severe strain in the exercise of her duties, her right leg was very much swollen and threatened to become sore. After three treatments from a practitioner the swelling disappeared and the leg is now normal as the other. The strain remained the same, but the difficulty did not reappear. My wife was also healed of a severe attack of the grippe in one absent treatment. These physical healings are only a few of the blessings that we have received through Christian Science. For all the proofs of God's power to heal, as well as for the many other blessings Christian Science has brought to us, I am very thankful. My heart goes out in gratitude to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
