God's Messages

God's messages are holy thoughts
That comfort and sustain;
They fill the soul with happiness
And banish fear and pain.

God's messages are thoughts of peace;
They calm the troubled breast,
They still the raging tempest,
And give the weary rest.

God's messages are loving thoughts;
They scatter doubts and fears,
They lighten every weary load,
And wipe away our tears.
