After spending the greater portion of seven years with doctors and in hospitals, due to paralysis, I gladly turned to Christian Science about five years ago. The first lesson I remember reading from The Christian Science Quarterly contained the statement from the Bible, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." The thought at once came clearly to me that when I really did know the truth I would be free to walk. From that time on I spent many hours daily in earnest study of the Bible and Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.

One evening a few months later I did realize this truth, and knew I was a perfect idea of God. The healing was perfect with the exception of a difference of one inch and a half in the length of the so-called paralyzed leg. Five years have passed, but a few weeks ago one evening when starting out to the mail box the thought came to me like a sunbeam through a windowpane, that I could not walk any way but upright, having been created by the One who created all things perfect. The healing took place immediately, and I can now walk and stand with ease, which has been an unknown possibility since I was eleven years old.

I am indeed grateful for the small knowledge I have of this wonderful truth given us by Mrs. Eddy and also to all who have helped me to understand it. The most I can say is that when rightly applied it has never failed to heal mentally or physically. (Miss) Alberta C. Fielder, W. Philadelphia, Pa.
