With a heart overflowing with gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me, I send this testimony. Some years ago I was in rather poor health, and having heard of Christian Science from a friend I decided to try it. I improved in many ways under treatment; more especially I noticed the improvement in my disposition. A little over a year ago a swelling appeared on one of my fingers. I has suffered intensely under medical treatment for this same trouble on two previous occasions, had undergone operations, and one nail had been removed. This time I decided to have Christian Science treatment and rely entirely on God, the great Physician, but soon discovered that I was filled with fear owing to my past experiences. I therefore asked a Christian Science practitioner to help me, and in two days all the pain and swelling had disappeared.

For this beautiful demonstration of the healing power of Truth I am most grateful, but for the spiritual understanding which we gain from the study of Christian Science I am even more grateful. I am filled with gratitude to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has given to the world the "pearl of great price" in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," our textbook, and am very grateful for all the authorized literature. Each day I am striving to become a better and more earnest worker in Christian Science. All glory, honor, and praise belong to our Father-Mother God, the giver of all good.—(Mrs.) Sally S.
