With a heart filled with gratitude to God and also to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I give my testimony of what Christian Science has done for me. Over five years ago I came to it for healing after all medical theories had failed me. I had been in a hospital for several months and had undergone different treatments, but all seemed to leave me in a worse condition physically and mentally, and I was a nervous wreck. When commencing the study of Christian Science, I had very little faith in its healing power, but upon my first reading of Science and Health I realized that I must give up medicine. After my first visit to a practitioner I destroyed all the drugs in the house and have never restorted to material remedies since. Heart trouble, malaria, nervousness, and many other discordant conditions have yielded to the power of Truth, and thought has been corrected in trying to overcome sensitiveness, criticism, and resentment.

I am grateful to all those who have helped to guide me along the way, and for the Sentinel and Journal.
