"The inclosed check for three dollars is sent to The Christian Science Benevolent Association in grateful recognition of a recent demonstration over a claim of limitation, this being a small part of a loving, generous gift wholly unexpected, but which came only after demonstrating supply and stepping out ready to stand on God's promise, which Christian Science has shown me how to do. The Christian Science Benevolent Association has interested me much since its inception, and I have longed many times to be able to send something, realizing the great good it can and will do. I wish this might be a larger amount but am glad to be able to send even this mite."
