Christian Science has helped me spiritually, morally, physically, and I am truly grateful. My first knowledge of the healing power of Truth came when I turned to Christian Science in physical need, and found an immediate answer. On page 494 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mrs. Eddy tells us, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." To me that has been a steadying help again and again. The sense of freedom and joy and gratitude grows each day; while the desire and opportunity for service is a prayer which is beautifully answered. As a result of my study of Christian Science I am a healthy, happy woman. In the years before I came into Science there were long periods of ill health and loneliness, which now never occur. The study of this demonstrable religion acts as a preventive as well as a curative, and I am learning to recognize any seeming difficulty as an opportunity to demonstrate the truth.

Very recently I had two experiences that clearly demonstrated the healing and helping power of Christian Science. When I woke up one morning I seemed to be almost speechless, able to whisper and that was all. I treated myself and read our literature through the day, but when at four o'clock that afternoon the condition had not been overcome I went to a practitioner. My work made it necessary for me to speak in public that evening, and I was able to speak so as to be understood, and the next day was entirely healed. The following week a young girl associated with me in the same work was taken ill and we were told the doctors considered it dangerous, if not impossible, for her to attempt to go to her work; consequently, the work in which we were all engaged would have to be abandoned for the time, with the loss to all concerned of occupation and money, unless some one could take her place. I was quite unacquainted with her part of our work, but turning to divine Mind and relying absolutely on divine intelligence, for four days I did the necessary work, and besides overcoming a false sense of self and position I was also shown how to overcome a sense of inharmony.

I have been healed and uplifted so continuously by Christian Science that it is indeed a joy to feel that my testimony may be a help to others.
