About five years ago I was indeed at man's extremity, but it proved to be God's opportunity; for an understanding of man's relationship to God came to me through the reading of the Christian Science literature. I had been a graduate nurse, but at the end of ten years' experience in the use of material remedies I was a physical wreck, suffering from heart trouble, sick headaches of twenty years' standing, hemorrhoids, and many minor ailments. After ten days' almost constant reading of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was healed of the above ailments and also laid aside glasses, which had been worn for four years.

While grateful for the physical healing, I am more grateful for the spiritual uplift and the daily help received from the study of our literature. Recently another proof of God's allness and ever presence came to me in the healing of a broken tooth. The tooth is now as smooth and perfect as any of the others. Christian Science is the greatest blessing that has come into my life, and for its many benefits I am deeply thankful to God and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who has given us the key which does unlock the Scriptures.
