I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" when in sorrow, and at once felt at peace and able to go on as usual. While I was reading the book an eruption disappeared from my hands. It came back after a time rather worse, but I was entirely cured of this trouble by Christian Science treatment. Influenza has been over-come, and I have left off glasses, except for reading, after fourteen years' use of them. I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for all the comfort and strength received, but much more thankful for the understanding of God that I am gaining through the study of her books and our periodicals. The textbook never fails to put me right in any time of trouble. My son was cured of measles in two hours. I left him very ill and went to a practitioner's house to ask for treatment, and on my return I found him reading and wanting something to eat. When the doctor came he said that the boy was better and could go to school. Christian Science helped my mother very much at the time of an accident when she was seventy-six years of age, and is helping her now not to be anxious for her son at the front.
