I am one of the many who have received innumerable benefits through Christian Science. While preparing to go to my work one morning, I was obliged to ask for help from a practitioner. During the morning I was able to sit up in a chair and read, but in the afternoon my lower limbs became weakened, and I seemed unable to control the movements of my head and neck. Finally I had to have some one read to me. When I attempted to speak I could scarcely articulate, and my speech was like that of a child just learning to talk. In the evening I was obliged to retire and it was with difficulty that I walked to my room. The next morning (Sunday) I remained in bed and read. I was left alone in the house during the period of church service, during which time I studied "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. The spiritual uplift which came was indescribable and complete healing resulted. I walked and talked with perfect freedom, and that evening attended church service. I am profoundly grateful for many healings and other benefits, but especially for this healing from what is known as infantile paralysis.
Thanks be to God for His wonderful gift—Christian Science; and gratitude unbounded is due our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, and our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
