It is now seventeen years since I first began the study of Christian Science. At that time I was in deep sorrow and in very poor health. After reading and studying Science and Health for about six months, with a few treatments from a practitioner, my grief and suffering vanished, and I became a new woman. I used to suffer frequently from what the physicians called gallstone colic, but in the past seventeen years I have had only one attack and that was entirely overcome by reading Science and Health. Another ailment of which I was healed was neuralgia of the face and eye. I am very grateful for this healing as well as for that of my little son who suffered from a double rupture. From the first few treatments he showed much improvement, and in ten days was perfectly healed.

I feel sure that Christian Science is the truth which will deliver all mankind from sin and disease, and am very grateful to have learned through this Science the nature of God and man's relation to Him. I am thankful that Mrs. Eddy was brave and good enough to give out the truth so that all may understand what Jesus meant when he said, "If ye continue in my word, ... ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
