Christian Science was brought to us eight years ago when our baby girl, five months old, was seemingly dying of malnutrition. When all kinds of food that were recommended for infants had been tried of our physician had said he could do no more, a friend asked us if we would try Christian Science. At that time we knew nothing at all of this religion, but as hope for help from other sources had been given up, a practitioner in a neighboring town was at once called by telephone and treatment was asked for. She treated the baby that night and when morning came the little one showed improvement. As we knew nothing of the working of Christian Science, we asked the practitioner to come to our home, which request she lovingly complied with, and from this visit we gained light that has never ceased to shine. In one week our baby was completely healed, and since then no medicine whatever has been used in our family. The following winter this baby had an attack of acute lung trouble, but instead of using medical means, Christian Science treatment was again asked for, and within a very short time the ailment had vanished.

During this winter we have witnessed the power and have felt the blessings of Christian Science in two cases. Our five-year-old daughter had acute lung trouble, and after treating her for three or four days apparently without any improvement in her condition, we asked for help from a practitioner, and in three days the trouble was overcome. Another demonstration of the power of Truth for which we are very grateful is the healing of our little girl's eye, which had caused us considerable worry. A small growth, which became very painful, appeared on the eyeball and the inflammation became so severe that she could not bear the light and could not rest at night. This condition lasted three or four weeks, but through the practitioner's application of the truth which never varies, the error was cast out and the child's eye is now perfectly well.

We are very grateful for Christian Science and are trying to prove our gratitude by living better lives; in fact, we do not want to be satisfied until we awake with God's likeness.—Lester Weaver and (Mrs.) Alice Weaver, Hereford, Texas.
