Out of thankfulness to God and in gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I wish to give this testimony. Some years ago I had what the doctors call abnormal growths. I went to many noted surgeons, and they all operated on me, but with no good result. The wound would not heal and left me in a serious condition and constant agony. In five years I underwent nine operations for this trouble. I was constantly praying to God for help and one day the thought came very clearly to me that I should try Christian Science. I did so and it healed me. The healing was slow, but through it I learned a great lesson,—what God is and what man is and what church is. My hope is that this testimony will help some one who is seeking health and truth.

I can testify that what my wife has told is true. My heart is filled with gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. It has healed me of many ailments,—of rheumatism which was so bad that I hardly knew what it was to be without pain, and of kidney and bladder trouble. I was told by a surgeon that I would have to submit to a very serious operation in my nose and throat, as I was always breathing through my mouth. I am happy to say this difficulty has been entirely overcome with the help of a practitioner, and through reading the Bible together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I am indeed thankful to our Leader for this wonderful truth she has given to the world.—Charles J. Faust.
