I came into Christian Science through the healing of a member of our family who was suffering from diabetes, and by attending the services regularly, gradually found something that I had been wanting,—an understanding of God, Love. Words cannot express my gratitude for the knowledge of what man's birthright is, and that we are able daily to overcome in ourselves and others the evil beliefs of sin, disease, and death. Through the aid of loving practitioners, who have helped me to see the light, and through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, who so lovingly gave us this revelation of Truth, I have gained a clearer understanding of God and of His loving protection. I am most deeply grateful for the privilege of sending my children to the Christian Science Sunday school, by which they are benefiting.
This healing truth has helped me through many trials. A severe ear trouble was overcome in a few treatments and lasted only a few weeks, whereas before coming into Christian Science I had a similar attack, which lasted about two months, and it was necessary to have the ear drums operated on. Neuralgia and influenza have also been overcome, as well as many minor ailments. Most of all, this teaching has helped me to look at my daily problems from a more unselfish viewpoint and to be grateful for the harmonious working out of each one. My desire is to grow each day so as to be able to help my sisters and brothers to find God, who is Love and a very present help in every need.
Mrs. F. L. Salomon, New York, N. Y.
