Having suffered "many things of many physicians," I am...

Having suffered "many things of many physicians," I am indeed truly grateful to Christian Science for leading me out of the land of Egypt and out of the house of bondage. A little over five years ago, after a consultation had been held by a number of physicians both in Canada and in Chicago, I was told that I was suffering from a number of diseases, principally what is known as hardening of the arteries, heart disease, chronic disorder, and stomach trouble. They said there was very little hope for me and advised me to quit work and take things as easy as possible, but divine Principle was governing and in a few days Christian Science was presented to me. As there were no hopes held out for me in materia medica, I decided to try Christian Science, and in less than two weeks I was completely healed of most of these ills and was out on the road attending to my duties. I have not missed a day's work since.

While indeed grateful for freedom from the ills of the flesh, I am more grateful for the daily peace and joy that Christian Science has brought into my life. Words cannot express the happiness I get from the study of this demonstrable religion.—W. J. Tremaine, Shreveport, La.
