[Editorial in Wenatchee (Wash.) World]

An evangelist recently holding meetings in Wenatchee took occasion to point out the fallacy of the other man's religion, which move only shows that there is still existent a touch of old-time religious bigotry. There are still many who think that they have a monopoly on pure religion.

When essaying to attack the other man's religion it is well to remember that all these organizations are formed with the idea of promoting and fostering the highest ideals of the human race. Each recognizes the existence of a higher power. All organizations differ in many non-essentials. Each man acts according to his light. Each organization is made up of men who make mistakes every day. It ill behooves any religious organization to talk or act against another such organization, since the other may be right.
