San Francisco, Cal.—Bids are in and a contract will shortly be awarded for the structural steel work and concrete work in connection with the construction of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, to be erected at the southeast corner of Cumberland and Dolores Streets at a cost of sixty thousand dollars.—San Francisco Examiner.
Racine, Wis.—The Christian Science literature distribution committee reports the distribution of 12,380 pieces of Christian Science literature during the year 1915. A booth was maintained at the "Made in Racine" exposition, held June 7 to 12, and three thousand copies of the Monitor were distributed. A mailing list, by which those wishing Christian Science literature can receive it, is one of the activities of the committee. The public schools of the city receive the Monitor daily.—Literature Distribution Committee.
Tulsa, Okla.—The literature distribution committee of First Church of Christ, Scientist, gave out during the year 1915 the following literature: 3356 Sentinels, 250 Journals, 18 Herolds, 10,859 Monitors, 3 Quarterlies, 1 Science and Health, 71 pamphlets, 42 lectures, 202 copies of Senator Works' speech, a total of 14,802 pieces. This literature was distributed in 114 different places, each place being visited twice a week. The State Penitentiary was also presented with a year's subscription to the Monitor, and the subscriptions to the Sentinel, Journal, and Monitor for the local public library were renewed. The committee distributed during 1915 over three times as much literature as in 1914.
