When Christian Science was presented to me through the loving thought of a friend, I was broken in health, suffering from many female weaknesses, sleeplessness, and sorrow. I prayed nightly to die, thinking death would relieve me of all this misery. Then this saving truth, which indeed makes free, came with healing in its wings through the reading of our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and the body became normal and performed its functions without pain. Sleeplessness left, and I was lifted up and out of my condition of thought and given a new outlook toward life and my fellow man. I have also been healed of an injured ankle, abscess, bowel disorder of years' standing, and hemorrhoids. Recently I have had a wonderful demonstration over sorrow caused by the loss of a dear one whose suffering left a mental picture that was tormenting me. Through the declaration of the truth this wrong picture was absolutely destroyed, also the hurt and loneliness.

I hope this testimony will reach and help some one who may be passing through his Gethsemane. I have been greatly blessed in every way, mentally, physically, financially, and above all spiritually. I know today as never before that "to those leaning on the sustaining infinite, today is big with blessings" (Science and Health, Pref., p. vii), and my daily prayer is that this divine Principle may speedily be uncovered to all mankind.—Amy Eckbert, Los Angeles, Cal.
