It is four years since I began to study Christian Science, and I should like to bear testimony here to one of the many blessings I have received through it. In Science and Health (p. 323) Mrs. Eddy says, "The effects of Christian Science are not so much seen as felt," and I have proved the truth of this, for darkness is gradually being turned into light,—light which I earnestly hope in time to be able to radiate on those around me.

One afternoon about two years ago I pinched my finger badly while folding up a deck-chair, and the pain was so great that it made me feel faint. I was alone at the time, and sat down, wondering if I were going to have a bad finger, when suddenly I remembered that matter can have no feeling. In a few minutes the pain stopped and all traces of the swelling and bruise had disappeared. I am thankful for what Christian Science has brought into my life, and my one wish is to help others.
