Over four years ago, while visiting my parents at Galt, Ontario, on my way to Winnipeg, I was taken severely ill with an attack of stomach and bowel trouble, which caused great suffering during the night. My parents are Christian Scientists and no doubt helped me some. In the morning I asked for treatment from a practitioner and received immediate relief. By noon I was able to partake of light food, and later enjoyed a good supper. I then walked some distance to see the practitioner, slept well that night, and left on my journey west Tuesday afternoon, as I had planned.

This experience gave me a clearer spiritual perception than I had before. For this and for the physical healing I am deeply thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who made it possible for the healing power of Christ to be manifest to mankind in the present age.
