I can hardly find words to express my gratitude for the benefits I have received through Christian Science. I had always thought this religion too high for my education, until I had a talk with a friend and later attended a Wednesday evening meeting and heard that if we have faith as a grain of mustard-seed, we shall remove mountains. A great peace came over me then, and I felt I had found the truth and was free. I was advised to get a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and did so. I cannot enumerate the burdens it has taken from me. For many years I had been subject to rheumatism, colds, nervousness, and the habit of chewing tobacco, also used glasses for reading; but these, as well as many minor ills, have disappeared like fog before the sun. I have not had treatment by a practitioner, but the healing came through the study of the Bible and the Christian Science text-book. I have had the truth fully demonstrated to me, and now am like a new man. I thank God for all these benefits, and am grateful to Mrs. Eddy that it was given her to reveal Christian Science to us; and how I do rejoice, and would like others to rejoice with us, for this truth is surely free to all.
