It is nearly three years since Christian Science first came to our notice. It found me a very delicate woman, but with the help of a practitioner I have been cured of many sicknesses, including rheumatism and nervous exhaustion, bronchitis, ulcerated teeth, and influenza. I might say that I was in such a nervous condition that at times I thought I would end my life in an asylum; but thanks to Christian Science, all this has been overcome. I had always been delicate, and one doctor had told me if I were not careful I would go into a decline. I had been taking medicine on and off for ten years, but it did me good only for a time, and I was beginning to lose all faith in doctors and drugs. Since coming into Christian Science I am much stronger and different in every way.

Christian Science is helping me to overcome an irritable temper, and instead of dwelling on the dark side, to look for brighter things. The Bible seems a different book to me; I used to read it as a duty, but now I love to read it. I have three little children, and all have been helped and are much stronger than they were. I am so glad that they are being taught to know who and what God really is. I am most grateful to know that God does not send sickness or trouble, as I was always taught to believe, but that He is Life, Truth, and Love. My one great desire is to push on and learn more of this new-old religion. I am more than grateful for the understanding and knowledge of the true God which I have gained through the study of Science and Health.
