About three years ago I prayed to God for help from the depths of my heart, for I had reached the point where I realized that human help was of no avail. Christian Science came into my life as an almost immediate answer to my prayer, and I have received innumerable blessings through it since. My youngest son, who had been pronounced abnormal by several physicians, has become a healthy, stalwart, normal young man. My eldest daughter was freed, through treatment by a Christian Science practitioner, of a trouble which caused her much pain, and which, according to the statement of a very capable physician, could only be removed by an operation.

As for myself, I have been freed of many ailments since I began the study of Christian Science, such as anemia, headaches, nervousness, and stomach disorder; besides which, constant fear has been replaced by firm trust in God, and a calm that does not leave me even now, in these troublous times. My eldest son has been at the front almost since the beginning of the war, while I have not heard from my youngest son for a long time; but I know that both are under God's protecting care, and I have no sense of anxiety about them.

All my acquaintances are surprised at the change which has taken place in me. Those who wished to know the cause of this change, began to look into Christian Science, and they have become earnest adherents of its teachings. My conscientious endeavor is to assimilate more of this glorious Science through the study of the Lesson-Sermons, Mrs. Eddy's works, and the articles in the Herold. I am most grateful for all the blessings which I have received through Christian Science, and I shall strive to radiate love in ever increasing measure, for I know God to be Love, and my true self His reflection.
