For several years it has been my privilege to read the testimonies published in the Christian Science periodicals, and gratitude for the help and encouragement I have received from these loving acknowledgments, prompts me to tell what Christian Science has done for me.

I was freed from the necessity of using glasses, which I had worn for twelve years, having been told that I would never be able to do without them. This healing came through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. For four years my eyes have given me no trouble, and I have done much close, fine work, which would have been impossible without Christian Science. I was almost instantaneously healed of all the symptoms of acute lung trouble, and this quick and permanent healing gave me absolute confidence in God's power to cure physical disease. Through the explanation made to me by a practitioner that God is our Father and Mother, and hence I could inherit nothing but good, I was healed of a lifelong fear of insanity. Words cannot express my gratitude for deliverance from this bondage. Chronic throat trouble, from which I had suffered for years, rheumatism, stomach disorder, and colds, have been overcome through the study of Science and Health.

Although I did not look into the subject of Christian Science for my own benefit, I soon found what I had long been seeking,—peace, comfort, and a right understanding of God and man's relation to Him. I found a practical religion, one which has taught me how to overcome all difficulties. My heart is filled with thankfulness to God for our dear Leader, whose purity enabled her to receive the message of Christian Science and deliver it to the world.
