Deep gratitude impels me to testify to all that I and mine have received through Christian Science. When I heard of its teachings three years ago, I was complaining about a great many things, being sick in mind and body, but since I became an adherent of Christian Science much that formerly seemed insurmountable has been overcome. I had been wearing glasses for sixteen years, and if they were dispensed with one minute during the day my eyes would be in an inflamed condition. The physicians consulted designated the trouble as a structural defect, but today I do not wear glasses and my vision is clear and normal, although I have to use my eyes in sewing from morning till night.

My son was healed in three days of scarlet fever and severe inflammation of the throat, so diagnosed by a physician whom we consulted. We then confidently turned to Christian Science and found loving assistance and sure help. The physician was much surprised at the course of the child's illness. For my part I know that divine Truth alone healed my boy, no medicine having been administered. I would not give up this teaching for anything; it leads us to ever growing happiness and contentment while yet here in our present condition. We know now that the omnipotent creator is forever omnipresent and never withholds from us His love and protection.
