Having received so many blessings through the reading of the testimonies, I would like to tell what Christian Science has done for me, with the hope that this may prove a help to others. I had been nervously affected for years, and suffered with headaches daily. I could not sleep at night, and felt so weak physically and mentally that I was not equal to managing my household, despite all my efforts. This condition made me feel so unhappy that nothing seemed to afford me joy, and the remedies prescribed by the physicians failing to effect an improvement in my case, I was afraid that I might never regain health.

While in this mood, I heard of Christian Science through an acquaintance, who brought me some literature on the subject, among which was the Herold. Upon reading testimonies of healing dealing with cases similar to mine, I gained new courage. I continued reading with much interest and attended the services as often as I could. Still, my improvement was slow, and I therefore applied to a Christian Science practitioner. Treatment was taken up, and I began to understand the power of Truth, which gradually freed me from all thoughts of disease and sickness. I have been an adherent of Christian Science for the past two years and a half, and although I have gone through some severe struggles during that time, I have been able to perform my daily work in the knowledge that God is my strength and support.

I am very happy indeed, and most deeply thankful to God for having been led to Christian Science, whereby I have gained health and a better understanding of the power of divine Love. I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy, and to all who have been of assistance to me.
