At the end of the school term, June 16, 1911, my little daughter, aged seven, was taken with what materia medica calls St. Vitus' dance, and seemed to grow worse every day. She got so ill that she could not walk, and she also had to be fed; then she lost her voice. I treated her to the best of my understanding, until a Christian Science practitioner returned from out of town whom I asked to take the case. The illness was immediately met and overcome, so that when the child began to go to school the first of the fall term, no one could tell that she had been in such a condition. It is almost two years and a half since the healing, and she has never had any return of the trouble.
This is only one of the many demonstrations that have been made in our family. We are truly thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for what Christian Science has done for us.—Margaret E. Crane, Beloit, Wis.
