I am very thankful for what Christian Science has done...
I am very thankful for what Christian Science has done for me, and I would like to express my gratitude. In going down the cellar steps on Feb. 14, 1912, I slipped and fell to the bottom, striking my head against the wall, and became unconscious. My nose and mouth were very much bruised, and bleeding, and as soon as I could speak, I sent for a Christian Science practitioner. The practitioner was with me for about an hour, and I can never describe the spiritual uplift that I received when the light of Truth came suddenly to my consciousness. I felt a great sense of peace, and with it all pain vanished. Although it had been a great nervous shock, I slept and rested well all night. The next day my shoulder, elbow, and knee had some discoloration, but I had free use of my arms and was able to walk around as usual. I was entirely healed, and have felt no ill effects from the accident since that hour.
I am truly grateful for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science.—Sallie A. Geiger, Reading, Pa.
I hereby corroborate this testimony, as I was present when the accident happened. I can never be thankful enough to God for what Christian Science has done for my wife and myself, and for the spiritual knowledge of the Bible we have received.—Harry G. Geiger, Reading, Pa.
