The Lectures

In accordance with the general plan of democratic government in Christian Science churches, The Mother Church Manual grants all power to initiate arrangements for a Christian Science lecture to the church or society desiring it.
During a period of nine years I was not well for more than a few months at a time.
In November, 1905, I underwent a double operation for appendicitis and a diseased condition of one kidney.
It is difficult to express in words my thankfulness to God for the moral, physical, and spiritual help that my husband and I have received through Christian Science.

I am very thankful for what Christian Science has done for me, and I would like to express my gratitude.
This testimony is written with a sense of deep gratitude and love for the many blessings which have come to me and my family through Christian Science.
I consider it my duty as well as a great privilege to testify to what Christian Science has done for me.
