I send the following testimony to express my gratitude for Christian Science and what it has done for me. In the fall of 1907 I first came to Christian Science for help in the city of Colorado Springs, Col., while there seeking health. After almost three years of search, my case indeed proved that "man's extremity is God's opportunity," as I had tried the best doctors of the famous schools, also treatment at a sanitarium. I remember saying that Christian Science could not help me, when it was mentioned to me before I started for the mountains. After arriving there and receiving only temporary relief, my cousin advised me to try another remedy, but that too failed.

I was then ready for the truth, and two Scientists who lived across the street from where I stopped, asked me to try Christian Science. I remember how willingly I called on a faithful practitioner and how much help I received in only one visit, and after two weeks of treatment, together with the study of Science and Health, I was well and ready to depart for the East to go to work again, after almost three years' suffering from a complication of ailments. Since then the truth has always been my help, with the aid of a practitioner and dear Christian Scientist friends, and divine Love has brought me through many trials.

I am indeed thankful to God, and grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Christian Science; also that I now know this is the truth and have some understanding of this great Principle which does and will make us all free.
