I have desired for some time to express my gratitude for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought to me. About fourteen years ago our family physician told my parents that I had tubercular disease of the lungs, and advised them to send me to a different climate. This they did, but it was of no avail. Then a Christian Scientist, hearing of my illness, loaned my father a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and told him of various healings in her family that had been accomplished through Christian Science treatment, at the same time assuring him that it would also be of help to his family. Our gratitude to that dear lady for leading us to this healing truth is beyond expression. I read the book, and began to gain in strength and health, until I was entirely healed of the lung trouble, also of a stomach disorder and other ailments. Since then I have not taken a drop of medicine, but have relied absolutely on the power of Truth. Whenever discordant conditions have arisen, the study of the Bible, together with Science and Health, has proved of great benefit to me. Our entire family have been helped in many ways through Christian Science.

I am very grateful to those who have helped me along this path, and also for all the Christian Science literature. Words are inadequate to express my thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to our dear Leader, who was pure enough in thought to see this great light and reveal it to the world.
