Great joy and gratitude prompt me herewith to testify...
Great joy and gratitude prompt me herewith to testify publicly to the benefits received through Christian Science. I suffered from what was called nervous debility and chronic displacement of the stomach, and as a result was very much run down physically, besides being in a state of great mental depression. The physicians were unable to afford help, and the sojourn in a sanitarium brought me only temporary relief, while the stomach difficulty became more and more severe. I do not know what would have become of me if I had not found Christian Science. After the first treatment from a practitioner I experienced a decided improvement, and within a short time I gained in strength and became a well woman. I am now able to perform my duties without experiencing fatigue. As for the mental depression, it has completely vanished, and has been replaced by a happy and cheerful sense and the endeavor to reflect Truth and Love.
Grateful as I am for the physical healing, I feel still more indebted to Truth, when I consider the spiritual blessings which have come to me through Christian Science. I am most deeply grateful also to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
