I am very grateful for Christian Science and what it has...
I am very grateful for Christian Science and what it has done for me; and I send this testimony with the hope that it will encourage some one whose healing is slow. A few years ago I was taken sick with a nervous breakdown; it seemed as if every organ in my body was affected. As I was interested in Christian Science, however, I asked for treatment. My healing was slow; in fact, it was two years before there was much improvement, but through the sincere and prayerful study of Christian Science I was restored to health. When I do my best work, am faithful and earnest in my study and application of the teachings of Christian Science, I find that it meets every human need. I would also like to speak of an attack of scarlet fever, which was healed very quickly; in fact, I was in bed only three days. The fever left after the first treatment, and the extremely sore throat was overcome the second day.
Many are the benefits I have received through this saving truth, and I am indeed thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science. I know that the way to show my gratitude is to live a better life, and this I am striving to do.—G. Enid Brown, Los Angeles, Cal.
