It is with a sense of gratitude deeper than words can...
It is with a sense of gratitude deeper than words can express that I wish to acknowledge the many benefits I have received through Christian Science, hoping that others may be led to seek this blessed truth which makes all free. I have been healed of chronic stomach trouble, so serious that every particle of food I ate distressed me. When I learned through the study of Science and Health that food has no power, for God is All-power, I was healed. For years I could not ride even a short distance on the train without being dreadfully car-sick, and I always dreaded a journey; but since coming into Science I have traveled thousands of miles and enjoyed every minute spent on the train. I have also been healed of an eye trouble by the reading of Science and Health. I never feel the need of glasses now, although I had worn them for years. To me one of the most beautiful demonstrations I have had is the overcoming of fear. I have proved that divine Love casts out all fear; that God is my protection and an ever-present help in trouble. Christian Science has also cured me of severe headaches; in fact, I have had continued proof for two years of the healing power of Truth. I am not only kept well physically, but I am gaining that correct understanding of God, and man's relation to Him, which is manifested in health and harmony.
The Bible and Science and Health are my daily companions. I thank God for the understanding I am gaining day by day, and my daily prayer is to know more and more of this healing truth. My heart is full of gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who was pure enough to see this great truth which Jesus revealed to humanity many centuries ago; and I am also grateful for all the literature it is my privilege to enjoy.
