I heard of Christian Science several years ago, when all medicines had failed to relieve me. This truth was brought to me by a faithful practitioner, and with her help, together with the reading of Science and Health, I was soon a new person. I was suffering from many ailments. My father and many others in the family had passed away with lung trouble, and I was being treated for the same disease, also for nervousness, liver complaint, and other ills; but I was completely healed through Christian Science.
I have just passed through another trial and wish to say that although I cannot yet overcome all the discordant conditions that arise, I feel deeply grateful for the understanding of Truth which I have already gained. At times it has seemed that I could not endure any more, but with Christian Science treatment my needs have been met by divine Love. During the past few years, others in our home have also been healed. I am very thankful to God for all these blessings, and I want to learn how to become more Christlike every day.—Bettie M. Cavett, Macon, Miss.
I also have been healed through Christian Science. An oculist of Atlanta, Ga., told me that I would be blind in six months, and that I must give up my work. I, however, went to a Christian Science practitioner and did not quit work; in consequence, I can now see better than ever before. It has been seven years since my healing. I hope this testimony will be of benefit to some one.—W. M. Cavett, Macon, Miss.
