At the first Wednesday evening meeting I attended, a little over five years ago, I was healed of a serious bowel trouble. Previous to this, I had been operated upon a number of times, and these operations had left my bowels in a paralyzed condition. Material remedies were resorted to, but without much relief. Seated there that night, listening to the various testimonies of healing through Christian Science, I felt that I would never need these remedies again, that God would help me, as He had helped others; so I went home and threw away the medicine I kept at hand for myself and family. Truth has been the only physician in our home from that evening, and it has never failed.
