It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I give this testimony. I was healed of what is known as lockjaw in less than two hours after a Christian Science practitioner was called in. When she came, my jaws were locked, my throat and tongue seemingly paralyzed, and I was suffering intense pain. The work was done so beautifully, and such a wonderful transformation took place, that I realized there had been a mighty struggle with error.

For over eight years I and my family have received many benefits from the truth as taught in Christian Science, and I am more grateful than words can express that our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, was spiritually minded enough to perceive the truth of being. I had a small growth on my eyelid that was very annoying on account of its unsightliness, as it caused the lid to droop until it partly closed the eye. I also had severe organic troubles, headache, etc. A lady who was boarding in the hotel with us, asked me why I did not try Christian Science, and she kindly consented to treat me. In less than a week there was not a vestige of the growth on the eyelid, and I was also healed of the other ailments at the same time; in fact, I was like a new being. Since then every illness that has made its appearance has been quickly met and destroyed by knowing the truth and applying it as we are taught in the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. My husband and daughters have also been healed of many ailments.
