The "Observer" quietly dropped into a seat in the Christian Science...
Kingston (Ontario) Standard
The "Observer" quietly dropped into a seat in the Christian Science church last Sunday morning and was charmed with the quiet character of the entire service. There was a sort of Christ-spirit in the atmosphere. The face of every worshiper was lighted with joy and beamed with gladness. It was impossible to get out without a hearty handshake and an invitation to return. The "Observer" does not accept the theology of these people, but has to admit there is something infectious about the sweet, practical lives of these Scientists. Human nature is not generally partial to religious refrigerators, but likes the place where there is a touch of tropical warmth in the hand that bids you welcome to the house of God.
